Adam Smith
Head of Capital Markets
Adam holds a dual role across the Pinnacle Group of Companies, serving as Head of Capital Markets at both Pinnacle Capital and Pinnacle Global Advisory. In this capacity, he carries responsibility for the capital markets function across both entities, spanning pre-IPO secondary transactions, structured liquidity solutions, and private placements and is the driving force behind Pinnacle's ability to originate, structure, and execute private market transactions at scale.
Adam works closely with institutional investors, family offices, fund managers, corporate shareholders, and high-net-worth individuals to design and deliver bespoke capital solutions. Whether facilitating secondary share disposals, leading private capital raises, or structuring GP-led liquidity events, his approach is consistently focused on matching the right capital with the right opportunity, at the right moment.
A central pillar of Adam's role is the continued expansion of Pinnacle's global buyer network. In a market where deal flow and distribution are everything, his work building and deepening relationships with investors and intermediaries across the UK, US, Europe, the Middle East, and internationally is fundamental to the firm's competitive positioning. He is equally focused on developing the strategic partnerships that allow Pinnacle to access supply and originate transactions that would otherwise remain out of reach.
Prior to joining Pinnacle, Adam was at Otala Markets, where he developed hands-on experience across private market transactions and investor engagement at the growth and late stages of the company lifecycle - the precise segment that defines Pinnacle Capital's secondary market focus.
Adam's dual mandate across Pinnacle Capital and Pinnacle Global Advisory reflects the firm's integrated approach to private markets, combining the deal origination and investor access capabilities of both entities to deliver a seamless, institutional-grade service to clients and investors alike.
